The Kayenta is an excellent spot to stash your snacks or other quick-access items. The low-profile shape and unobtrusive location make it a smart choice for day riders as well as bikepackers!

The Kayenta utilizes dead space between your bike's top tube and seat tube and is useful for stashing smaller items you want easy access to. Repair kits, tubes, multi-tools, snacks - all great ideas for Kayenta stowage. A padded spine and interior stiffeners protect your gear, your bike, and keep the Kayenta's shape extremely well, even when empty. Water-resistant zipper with a burly zipper garage make for a dust- and weather-solid bag. The rear strap is positionable to avoid seatpost clamps, dropper post collars, or anything else in the way.

The Kayenta works well on two types of frames: 1) Any bike with a roughly 90* angle between top tube and seat tube, and no gusset; and, 2) Any bike with a similar angle and a small gusset (for example, Surly's hardtails with the brace tube). The Kayenta does NOT work well with bikes that have extreme angles between the tubes, or large guessets.

Install your Kayenta by wrapping the large velcro strap on the bottom of the bag around your bike's top tube, and cinch tight. (We make these straps long for various tube sizes; if installing on a steel bike, for example, you can cut the excess strap.) Wrap the velcro on the rear of the bag around your bike's seat tube or seatpost - you can reposition the rear strap as necessary.
