The Vishnu is a small, light bag that's designed for double duty as a cargo cage bag or a handlebar bag. It's the perfect size for use in a fork-mounted cargo cage; the Vishnu's main straps attach to the cage to prevent the straps from rotating around when cinching them down. The straps also pass through a chain of webbing on the bag itself, making it virtually impossible for the bag and cage to become separated. Once cinched down, the Vishnu is absolutely rock solid!

As a handlebar bag, the Vishnu is an excellent smaller alternative to our full-size handlebar rigs, perfect for day rides or single-day endurance races. The straps are independent of the bag itself for even compression, yet cannot fall off the bag when they are loosened. The straps attach to the handlebar as well as cinching around the bag, again making for an extremely solid setup once cinched.

Made of extremely durable materials, the Vishnu's spine is padded to keep contents from rattling against your cage or handlebar. What do we use the Vishnu for? Warm layers, rain gear, repair kits, snacks, or anything else that won't fit in your frame bag!

As a cargo cage bag, the Vishnu works with virtually any cargo cage. You may strap the Vishnu into a cargo cage mounted to your fork, or inside the frame triangle. Due to the Vishnu's width, it is not ideal for use under the downtube, near the chainring. For this location, our Sinbad Stash Pack, Big Bad version, is excellent!

As a handlebar bag, the Vishnu works on almost any handlebar setup. Due to its small size, it works well even on narrow bars, or on setups with minimal clearance between the tire and bar (requires 5"). Not compatible with center-pull (cantilever) brakes.

To pack the Vishnu, simply stuff your gear into the bag, then roll and clip. Stuffable items work best.

To install as a cargo cage bag, first remove the main straps and headtube strap from the bag. Set the headtube strap aside for future use as a handlebar bag. Attach the main straps to your cage using the small velcro loops. Place the loaded Vishnu into the cage; thread the straps through the webbing daisy chain on the bag, through the alloy buckles, and cinch tightly.

To install as a handlebar bag, place the loaded Vishnu under your handlebar with the textured rubberized patch against the stem and handlebar. Use the velcro loop to attach to the head tube of your bicycle. Then install the main straps of the Vishnu over the handlebar using the attached small velcro loops. Finally, thread the straps through the alloy buckles, cinch the straps tight and go ride!
